£100 Asos Challenge

I came across this fun competetion on www.discountcoder.com asking you to put together an outfit on Asos.com for £100. I know that sounds like alot of money and it is, but put together a complete outfit for just that is quite hard. But after searching for pieces to complete the outfit i had in my head i came to a finished product. Check out my £100 outfit below, actually mine came to £99!

To being with i wanted a casual but dressy daytime outfit, so a lbd paired with a denim jacket was what i was looking for. I found this beautiful black chiffon high low hemline skirt and i was sold. I love the high low style and at £38 this dress was immediately added to my basket.
And to complete the outfit in my head next i needed a denim jacket. Searching through all the jackets i realised this outfit may not be viable on a £100 budget but then i came across this little beauty on sale. Origionally priced at £56, but on sale for 50% off at £28 this was the next item added to my online basket. Its a kind of distressed denim colour with pockets on either side a buttoned down in the middle. I would wear this open however.
If i wear to actually get this combo i would wear it with a belt around the dress at my waist to pull it in and make it more shaped. I found this lovely leopard print belt for £8 from the river island range carried on Asos. I think the leopard print just gives the black a little pop and a little more detail without being over the top.
To make this outfit more daytime appropriate i decided to pick a pair of tights to wear with this outfit. I didnt want plain black tights as i also want this outfit to be a little bit dressy. I found these tights with have a sock pull up look with a double stripe over one thigh.
And finally, no outfit is complete without a pair of shoes. And daytime outfit for me means flat shoes. I want to keep comfortable during the day. I thought that coloured flats wouldn't go with this outfit as they would just stick out like a sore thumb with the black dress and tights, plus the leopard print belt already gives it a pop of colour/pattern. Therefore i was looking for a pair of black ballet flats, which can be very plain, but hold on, these crochet black flats would be perfect plus add a little detail without being over powering.
Now time for the maths
£38 +
£28 +
£8 +
£10 +
£15
---------------
£99
So that was my £100 Asos challenge, why not give it a go yourself and see what you come up with. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of this outfit
