£100 Asos Challenge

I came across this fun competetion on www.discountcoder.com asking you to put together an outfit on Asos.com for £100. I know that sounds like alot of money and it is, but put together a complete outfit for just that is quite hard. But after searching for pieces to complete the outfit i had in my head i came to a finished product. Check out my £100 outfit below, actually mine came to £99!

To being with i wanted a casual but dressy daytime outfit, so a lbd paired with a denim jacket was what i was looking for. I found this beautiful black chiffon high low hemline skirt and i was sold. I love the high low style and at £38 this dress was immediately added to my basket.
And to complete the outfit in my head next i needed a denim jacket. Searching through all the jackets i realised this outfit may not be viable on a £100 budget but then i came across this little beauty on sale. Origionally priced at £56, but on sale for 50% off at £28 this was the next item added to my online basket. Its a kind of distressed denim colour with pockets on either side a buttoned down in the middle. I would wear this open however.
If i wear to actually get this combo i would wear it with a belt around the dress at my waist to pull it in and make it more shaped. I found this lovely leopard print belt for £8 from the river island range carried on Asos. I think the leopard print just gives the black a little pop and a little more detail without being over the top.
To make this outfit more daytime appropriate i decided to pick a pair of tights to wear with this outfit. I didnt want plain black tights as i also want this outfit to be a little bit dressy. I found these tights with have a sock pull up look with a double stripe over one thigh.
And finally, no outfit is complete without a pair of shoes. And daytime outfit for me means flat shoes. I want to keep comfortable during the day. I thought that coloured flats wouldn't go with this outfit as they would just stick out like a sore thumb with the black dress and tights, plus the leopard print belt already gives it a pop of colour/pattern. Therefore i was looking for a pair of black ballet flats, which can be very plain, but hold on, these crochet black flats would be perfect plus add a little detail without being over powering.
Now time for the maths
£38 +
£28 +
£8 +
£10 +
£15
---------------
£99
So that was my £100 Asos challenge, why not give it a go yourself and see what you come up with. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of this outfit

Some Kukee Buys

Ok so its official, i have found my newest obsession, and i mean i am obsessed. I found this website (www.kukee.co.uk) on tuesday evening and after seeing so many pieces of jewellery i wanted and such low affordable prices i made and order. See the video of my below opening the package as it arrived.
I recieved the package on Friday morning and was certainly not expecting it. I have made orders online before on different websites and paid for next day delivery, but since i live in such an awkward location it actually took 5 days to arrive. So as this package only took 2ish days to get to me i was very impressed.

I had ordered 6 items from this website collectivly costing £10.50, bargain i know. Then when it arrived i discovered that since i had paid over £10 (excluding p&p) i was given a free pair of cross earring which i absolutly love. You may be able to tell from my username on youtube and blog name etc that i like crosses. So all in all i recieved 2 rings, 2 necklaces, 2 earrings and an ear cuff.

At such low prices it is normal to be concerned at what the quality of the product will be like, but let me tell you, the jewellery is amazing. They are beautiful pieces and look exactly like the pictures on the website. After recieving this i told myself i will definatley be ordering from this website again, and one day later i made another order, sorry bank balance, but this time only one necklace, (The middle one in the picture below)
This necklace was the most expensive item i ordered from the website at £5.00. When i told my friends abot £5.00 being my most expensive purchase from this site they all automatically said "send me the link" and we've all been discussing the various pieces displayed. I even made a wish list for my next payday. Kukee will certainly be hit up again with another order from myself. Check out below for my wishlist:

DOUBLE CYLINDRICAL RING: £2.50

PEARL CLAW NECKLACE: £3

BIRD SKULL RING: £2.50

STONE LEAF RING (red): £2.00

BLACK TRIANGLE NECKLACE: £3.00

ARMOUR ARROW RINGS (Silver): £3.00

CLAW RING (Gold): £2.50

I strongly encourage everybody looking for jewellery pieces to check out Kukee.co.uk first. As you can see they have lots of similar items as big jewellery stores at much more affordable prices and just the same quality. Also follow Kukee.co.uk on twitter here as she is such a lovely girl and replies to everyone.
